What You'll Do

• Lead product development from initial concept through production-ready handover for activewear collections.

• Translate design concepts into clear technical documentation, including CAD sketches, tech packs, construction details, and measurement specifications.

• Source and recommend suitable fabrics, trims, elastics, and performance materials that align with VAEYON's quality, comfort, and sustainability goals.

• Coordinate sample development with manufacturers, reviewing prototypes and recommending improvements in fit, function, durability, and finishing.

• Work directly with factories and suppliers to troubleshoot technical challenges during development.

• Ensure garments meet performance requirements for movement, comfort, moisture management, and longevity.

• Recommend construction methods that balance premium quality with commercial viability.

• Conduct trend, fabric, and competitor research to support future product collections while staying true to VAEYON's design philosophy.

• Collaborate closely with the founders to refine products and prepare them for launch.

We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience in apparel product development, preferably within activewear, athleisure, sportswear, or premium lifestyle brands.

• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, grading, pattern development, and technical specifications.

• Experience creating professional tech packs and production documentation.

• Knowledge of performance fabrics, knits, woven materials, trims, and garment finishing techniques.

• Familiarity with Indian apparel manufacturing and vendor communication.

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and technical CAD creation.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to independently manage multiple products simultaneously.
